Is there something that hasn’t been said? or thought?

My thoughts may be unique or strange or funny or provocative -

or none of those things.

But whatever my thoughts - I give them to you.

I'm Sam - a first-generation Texan from somewhere that's not on the way to anywhere.

I come from a musician, a CEO, a politician, a pastor, a painter, an author, an editor, a nurse, a chemist, and way too much Mountain Dew.

My favorite good ideas: people over accomplishments - experiences over possessions - time over money - the world is changing but the important things are timeless - will brake for bacon - there is only one reality - any hike is a good hike - we didn’t call ourselves into being - the whole world is Ripley’s Believe it or Not - success is being yourself.

I amuse myself by making character voices and inserting fake lines into the story as I read to my family.
